Description
Experience Level: Entry
I run a small event management company in Dorset and I have a couple of big projects next year that I will need assistance with. I\'m just testing the water to see who is in the area with the relevant skills I am looking for. This will be an office based job, you will NOT be able to work remotely so please bear this in mind if replying.
The main project will run from June to October, building up from a couple of days a week to full-time. This is an international conference for 1500 delegates and I need an experienced No.2 who I can rely on entirely to assist with delegate management in particular.
Skills:
You will need to demonstrate that you have the skills you say you have, minute attention to detail, ability to cope under extreme pressure. You\'ll have great MS Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience:
Many years of conference and events experience would be great, but not essential. Hotel or travel industry experience would also be useful, but whatever experience you do have must be able to be applied to the needs of this project.
You\'ll need the flexibility to put in extra hours if necessary (it will be!) nearer the start of the conference, you must also be able and comfortable to spend a week away from home (mainland Europe) for the conference in October.
If all goes to plan there will be more work for the early summer too.
