Personal Assistant to Chief Executive / Executive Producer
Our Chief Executive / Executive Producer is looking for a personal assistant to assist with his work across documentary, education and fiction production.
You will be supporting in business administration, diary and event management and possibly research and support with productions, depending on your experience and interests.
The role will be part-time, based in London but mainly remote. The role will pay by the hour with hours spread during the week, amounting to 1 or 2 days per week.
This role will suit a freelancer looking to get into producing or an actor/actress looking for more production experience.
Typical roles include:
- Managing Chain of Title – ensuring signatures in place
- Diary management
- Recording expenses
- Administrative support (arranging a new phone/laptop, etc.)
- Hands on support with office move
- Help preparing presentations/pitch decks
- Proofreading and subtitling
- Help with research
Person specification:
- Must have laptop
- Must be self employed with the right to work in the EU
- Must be a self-motivated and reliable, organised person, able to juggle several demands at once
- Must have a passion for production and a keen eye for detail
- Computer skills:
o MS Excel, MS Powerpoint essential
o Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator useful to have
Rate of pay: £12-£15 per hour DOE
Period of engagement:
February-March, inclusive, with opportunity for longer-term engagement if the job works out

About the producer:
Bob Denham is a producer, writer and director. In 2014 he founded education and documentary production company, Econ Films, specialising in film and video about economics, finance, business and public policy. He has just set Zero to One Entertainment to produce fiction – focusing on high concept sci-fi and comedy.
Recent productions include the web series Simulated Dead People, which won Web Series Of The Week’ at IndieSeriesNet and has screened at festivals worldwide, including Raindance Webfest, ITVfest sponsored by HBO, Marseille Webfest sponsored by Studio Canal and The Geneva Film Festival. The project is now being developed for TV with a major US studio, with Bob attached as Executive Producer and Writer.
As a writer-director, his two previous projects are political satires A Very European Break Up and United Queendom – both of which received international media coverage and praise. His latest film and mini-series is the comedy Happy Birthday, You Loser releasing in 2018.
