Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day/week on an on-going basis
Our organisation comprises around 140 members all of whom are freelance UK business consultants. Although we have a web/email communication and regular events we need someone to raise the level of engagement of the members with the Network.
We estimate this will require someone to spend around 5 hours per week to undertake the following tasks:
- Calling members to solicit/encourage:
- feedback on the Network
- participation in events
- inviting new members
- posting opportunities for work
- updating their profile on the Network website
- Managing annual membership fee payment
- Arranging evening events for members; typically 10-20 people at a London pub with a volunteer speaker
- Updating the Events page of the website
This work can be done at home, and at times to suit - although telephoning members will have to be done at time to suit them - typically around lunch times.
In addition to the fixed hourly rate there is the opportunity to earn commission to sign-up new members from a prescribed ‘hot-list’ of potential members, but this is not seen as the main purpose of this role.
The successful person will be in the UK, but where is not relevant. You will be self-managed and report on progress by updating a spreadsheet and short weekly call.
The successful person will be able to demonstrate through their CV and references:
- Good organisational skills with use of MS Office
- Engaging phone manner
- Drive, self motivation and reliability
The applicant should be based in Great Britain to enable the possibility of meeting with us
