Experience Level: Intermediate
We require someone with a relevant chemistry, food safety or nutritional qualification who is familiar with EU food safety standards or can compile the relevant standards for heavy metals and microbiology according to the following EU standards:
Heavy Metals – COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 1881/2006 of 19 December 2006 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs for the following:
Lead
Arsenic
Cadmium
Mercury
Micro testing - EU Regulations 2073-2005 for the following:
Bacillus cereus
E.coli
Enterobacteria
Listeria spp
Yeast & Mould
Salmonella
TVC
Ideally we would like someone who can work on regular projects to analyse cetificates of analysis for organic powders we have analysed and confirm compliance with the above standards and sign the product off as compliant.
