Experience Level: Expert
we have a Cisco 800 series router currantly setup and running and we need some changes making to the ports to allow a Voip phone from vonage to work. conf file available on confirmation of work.
notes from phone supplier are as follows
In reference to our previous discussion, our phones use port 8933 for SIP messaging. The SIP servers they communicate with are found on the following IP ranges 37.17.184.0/24 and 37.17.186.0/24. We would recommend ensuring traffic from these IP ranges are not blocked.
It would also be worth checking that the routers SIP ALG is not enabled, that any built in SIP client on the network should be disabled.
any further questions please contact me.
