Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Background on the client:
They run a call centre. Around 50 PC’s. Infrastructure consists of, 3x HP 360 Servers (PBX, CallRecord1, CallRecord2), 1x Cisco ASA Firewall (Core of the network), 1x CISCO 1941 router belonging to Virgin (FTTP terminates there) 1x Linux Proxy (no idea what it runs) and some digum VOIP phones.
The Job:
Customer is moving to new office where he doesn't have internet connection. His business relies on internet as it's fully VOIP with onsite PBX.
Because of no internet servers and core of the network will be moved to co-location center with High Speed Fibre Link.
On Site PC's will be VPNing to the co-location (via 4G Dongles) in order to make/receive calls and use internet access.
I know it sounds crazy, but we have done that once there already and it did work.
What's involved:
Re-configuring Cisco ASA due to IP infrastructure change (Co-location). Setting up a IPSec VPN for up to 50 users to dial in.
Making sure that remote site can VPN to Cisco in order to make receive calls via PBX.
This will require an on site visit to co-location center where part of equipment is and possible the office where other half of equipment is.
JOB IS TO TAKE PLACE WEEKEND 20,21 DECEMBER. Location: E14 0JF
More details will be provided to interested parties.
Thank you.
