I need someone to help with a spreadsheet. It is used for wages for subcontractors that have CIS tax (20%) taken off the money and its needs the following functions:
- list all subcontractors names and their utr number
- have space to enter their different agreed rates of pay (up to 4) and the hours worked so the gross pay can be automatically calculated
- have space to record other deductions (up to 4)
- pay after deductions to be automatically calculated (gross pay less deductions)
- CIS tax at 20% to be automatically calculated
- net pay to be automatically calculated ((gross pay - deductions)-CIS tax = net pay)
- to be able to generate pay slips for each subcontractor using all of those figures
- be able to allocate each contractor to a department and then work out the wages bill per department per week as well as overall
- be able to work out how much CIS has been deducted off each individual every month (from the 6th one month to the 5th of the next) for HMRC returns and perhaps generate a seperate report with that info
- be simple and easy to use
I am quite competent and familiar with Excel formulas etc but not report/form generating or anything as advanced as this.
If someone can start off a template and show me how it would work for a couple of employees with instructions I can finish it off. Just need to know how to go about achieving the end spreadsheet. Ongoing support via email may be required until its done.
