We are a long established Design and Manufacturer of Loadcells and Load Monitoring equipment based in Southampton. We supply Loadcells and Load Monitoring Solutions to Offshore, Subsea and lifting gear companies along with many other industries worldwide.
A Maternity cover opening has arisen for an Office Administrator to work in our offices based in Southampton. Reporting to the Directors you will be will be responsible for all front of office activities and will be required to provide administrative support to the workshop for return, repair and calibration of loadcells. Duties will include;
Booking/registering of equipment returned for repair/calibration
Quotation generation and order loading
Organisation of couriers for shipping of products – both UK and worldwide
Implementing, organising and clearing products through customs relief (IPR)
Invoice generation and posting
Provide necessary and relevant administration support to the business operations
Telephone answering / stationary & consumable purchasing
Handling in-coming / out-going mail
Filing
Marketing activities, emailing newsletters, mailing out brochures / letters
The successful candidate must be able to work well in a small team, be confident with Microsoft Word / Excel and general computer literacy, an ability to work independently and ensure all work is conducted in accordance with company’s standards. Other ideal attributes would be as follows;
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills & telephone manner
Clean working manner
Willing to work overtime when required during busy periods.
Sales experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Basic working hours will be 37.5 hours per week with one hour lunch breaks. 8:30am-5.00pm.
