We are a Horsham based health and safety / project management consultancy looking for a full time person to provide administrative support to the project team and health and safety support to the H&S consultant and their clients. Organisational skills are a must and an understanding of UK health and safety legislation and its practical application in the workplace is essential. Job description below. The position is full time and office based in Horsham with a salary (approx £18K-£22K):
H&S ADMINISTRATOR TO H&S DIVISION
• Setting up new clients on our online H&S system
• Helping clients get the best out of their online H&S account by completing risk assessments and method statements etc
• Managing renewals
• Handling general client enquiries
• Scheduling activity
• Assistance with the delivery of CDM projects
• General administrative support to the business
GENERAL ADMINISTRATOR TO THE PROJECTS DIVISION
• Adding proposals to tender tracking software
• Assisting with the production of proposal documents
• Arranging appointments and tracking tender progress
• Assistance with the preparation of project work schedules
• Keeping clients up to date with progress
• Contacting subcontractors to book in services
• Issuing Purchase Orders
• Adding invoices to the bookkeeping system
• Assisting with the health and safety management of projects (production of documentation, requesting and collating information from subcontractors, etc)
• Providing general support to both directors to enable the smooth running of the division
• Liaising with Head Office
