Poppy Children - a small Creative, design led, Company expanding on National and International levels require an Account Clerk/PA
2-3 days a week
£8 per hour
Based in Liverpool
We are a relatively small family run business that is looking for a suitable person to join our team.The candidate would initially be employed on a part time basis but as the position develops we would expect the hours to increase accordingly. The role is an administrative one that would predominantly include managing the company’s accounts, data input into excel, assist in researching and initiating an epos system for stock control, answering the telephone and replying to general emails. As with every small company we need all our staff to be adaptable and willing to help in other areas of the business when necessary. It’s a great opportunity for someone who is interested in the creative sector and business development.
We are looking for the following skills, experience and attitude, however full in house training will be given to the successful candidate.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good people skills/ telephone manner
• Confidence with a computer
• Competent at using excel spreadsheets.
• Experience in using SAGE, Quick Books and/or other accounting systems
• Willing to learn how to use a website
• Experience in e-commerce and/or epos systems would be a bonus
• Stock control
Personal Qualities:
• Personable
• Organised
• Methodical
• Adaptable
• Intuitive business skills
• Able to work on own initiative
• Problem Solver
