We currently use a complicated excel workbook that records time spent on four different projects, by day, per month, automatically calculating the hourly rate from data entered once and pulled through the sheets. It calculates monthly salary costs per project line and accumulates them by project and overall. It is difficult to describe but I attach a template (created by a techie employee who no longer works for us) that can be adapted. We would like the one we have for 2015 to be altered slightly and then we need one for each of the next five years.
