Description
Experience Level: Entry
Freelancer with ADVANCED MS Excel Sought (Must be a whizz with complex formulas and linking worksheets)
I have a requirement to record annual leave in hours and have created various spreadsheets in the form of:
Master Annual Leave Summary Sheet
(To record info relating to A-typical workers (zero hours who accrue annual leave entitlement based on hours worked each week and which acculumlate over a 12 month period based on the number of hours actually worked each week being entered by admin staff on a weekly basis and of which a running total will be maintained) AND details of staff who have contracted hours where No. of days entitlement per year is converted to Hours:Mins (not decimal).
Calculation/deduction of annual leave holiday relating to 'a-typical' workers (employees who accrue annual leave based on accumulative hours worked week on week over a 12 month period. Calculation would be "Hours x 12.07%", eg. wk 1 10 hrs, wk 2 20 hours, etc accruing over a 12 month period.
There are 5 spreadsheets:
4 relating to annual holiday in 4 categories -
Jan to Dec
Apr to Mar
Jul to Jun
Oct to Sep
For each of the above 4 I have an individual summary sheet which I need the ind. worksheet linking to 1) A Master Annual Leave spreadsheet and 2) I require a holiday form (already created minus formulas and linking) so that when hours are entered for annual leave, the hours deduct showing the balance of the ind. summary sheet and which this will be linked to the Master spreadsheet. The problem is I can't fathom out how I can both record accrued hours and show deductions at the same time on all 3 sheets per period and how annual leave booked for example in advance can be deducted when enough hours at the time of booking have been accrued.
The final spreadsheet is almost the same excercise but for staff who DO have set contracted hours whereby info relating to pro rata entitlement will be completed, + bank hols + loyalty days for long service all add up together then the employee will book via a hol form holiday hours required and again the holiday form, summary sheet and Master spreadsheet are all linked and show this calculation.
I am open to discussing options as to whether the format I have designed can be improved on and/or whether further work or something I haven't thought about needs to be incorporated. Ideally would like someone who lives in or around Rochdale/Oldham (Lancs) or surrounding area so that I could meet up and discuss requirements due to the complex nature of what I require. However for the purpose of awarding this work I would like to invite freelancers to call me or email me to discuss in greater detail so that I could perhaps email extract as a sample PRIOR to physically awarding the job.
IF ANYONE HAS SOMETHING SIMILAR ALREADY SET UP PLEASE EMAIL ME A COPY TO REVIEW I envisage this task to take no more than 2 hours (as work is repetetive for 4 of the 5 spreadsheets which in essence could be copied).
Tight timescale - needs to be completed fully functional and with any anomolies corrected/amended (if any) by 6pm latest on 9th May. Rate £8-£10 per hour
