Require an excel database for bank account debits created with the following columns and data entry from bank statements into those columns.

Date
Debit Type
Description
Transaction Date
Amount

All of the information is to be taken from bank statements. I have attached a few statements to give you an idea.

The bank statements are all scanned pdf’s. I have them the file share website for you to access with your own login. There are 310 bank statement sheets with varying amounts of data that would need extracted. Some of these bank statements have hand writing on them. Any handwritten notes are to be ignored. Some of the entries for cheque withdrawals also have a line through them – this is to be ignored and details of cheque debits are to be included.

All information is confidential! Which I am sure you already know, but just in case.

The information for the columns is explained below.

Date: This is the corresponding date from the far left of the statement under the statement column heading Date.

Debit Type: Information found under Details column of statement. Will either be Card Transaction, Cheque, Direct Debit or Cash Withdrawal.

Description: Again information for this will be found under the Details column of statement. In the case of a Card Transaction the description to be added here will be the retailer/supplier name. In the case of a Cheque just put the cheque number. In the case of Direct Debit enter name of who direct debit going to. In the case of Cash Withdrawal please put the details of where withdrawn from location.

Transaction Date: Many of the Card Transaction’s and Cash Withdrawals have different dates noted in the Details column of the bank statements. Please enter that date here.

Amount: This is the amount in the Withdrawn column of the bank statement.
