I have an excel sheet with 2000+ companies & prospects that I mail merge on a monthly basis.

This is data I have accumulated over time and much of it has been brought from marketing websites.

I simply need somebody to go through the names of each company and shorten the company name where possible.

For example if it shows company name as 'The Bank of America Retail Bank LTD', I would need this shortened this to 'The Bank of America'

The idea is to shorten the full company name as much as possible so that you are left with the just the meat of the company name.

Example two:

'Kent County Council' would be shortened to 'Kent Council'

You must use your initiative to best determine how a name should be shortened. Any cases where a name ends with LTD, Co etc. this must be removed.

Not all 2000 records will need to be shortened, only cases where the name looks like it's been auto populated.

The data contains contact email address and a good rule of thumb is to shorten the company name to match the domain of the email address.

Please can you quote a fixed price as to how much this will cost and how soon you can have it ready?
