As a trusted business intelligence consultancy, we offer a range of value-added services that enable companies such as DHL Tradeteam and Silentnight Group to extract greater value from their investment in IBM Cognos Analytics and derive more powerful insights from their data. Brief To continue to expand and develop our core IBM Cognos Analytics business unit, Triangle Information Management is seeking to recruit a freelance B2B Telesales Appointment Setter. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing new business meetings with a targeted audience of prospective business intelligence and data professionals working inside large cross-industry corporations. Responsibilities -Conduct targeted outbound calling to engage potential customers in a dialogue that opens opportunities for a face-to-face meeting*. -Provide information relating to Triangle Information Management’s portfolio of IBM Cognos Analytics consultancy services in an engaging manner and address any questions or issues that prospective customers might raise. -Take relevant notes on all calls for future use (including market intelligence information) and enter into the database to ensure lead records are updated. -Make a good first impression when calling leads and consistently demonstrate strong communication skills. -Meet mutually agreed goals and objectives and provide regular outbound calling activity reports to Triangle Information Management. *Please note that the successful Telesales Appointment Setter will not be required to attend face-to-face customer meetings. Requirements -Proven or demonstrable experience as freelance telesales representative or other sales/customer service role, ideally with knowledge of the software/IT Industry. -Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them engagingly and persuasively to prospects. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems. -Proven track record of successfully meeting outbound activity goals and objectives. Campaign Phases The successful B2B Telesales Appointment Setter will work in partnership with Triangle Information Management to generate new business appointments against the following campaign phases: Phase 1 Lapsed and Development Account Follow-Up Phase 1 of this campaign will require the successful candidate to follow-up lapsed and development accounts that have transacted with Triangle Information Management in the past but are no longer defined as an active customer. Phase 2 Lost Account Follow-Up Phase 2 of this campaign will require the successful candidate to follow-up lost customer accounts in an attempt to reignite conversations with key decision leaders. Phase 3 New Business Prospecting Phase 3 of this campaign will require the successful candidate to conduct targeted outbound calling to generate new business appointments relating to software upgrades, consultancy services, and ongoing software support. Measurement and Objectives Triangle Information Management will work with the successful candidate before starting the campaign to agree on a selection of SMART objectives. This will enable effective reporting and measurement of the campaign to track success and to identify areas where additional support could be offered. Data Targeted data will be provided by Triangle Information Management. Learning and Development Before commencing the outbound campaign, the successful freelance B2B Telesales Appointment Setter will be supported with appropriate levels of product-related training and information. Location The successful candidate can operate from a location of their preference or is welcome to work from the Triangle Information Management offices in rural Odiham, Hampshire.
