We are a UK-registered limited company operating within the property management and short-term accommodation sector. Due to our current financial position, we believe the company may be balance sheet insolvent and are seeking advice from an experienced ICAEW Chartered Accountant with expertise in insolvency, restructuring, and going concern assessments. Our objective is to explore a practical restructuring strategy that enables the business to continue operating while repaying existing liabilities over time without increasing debt or obtaining additional borrowing. We require an independent professional review of our financial position and guidance on the most suitable course of action. Scope of Work The successful accountant will be expected to: Review our financial records, including the balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and creditor schedule. Assess whether the company meets the legal insolvency tests, including both cash flow and balance sheet insolvency. Evaluate the viability of our proposed restructuring and going concern strategy. Advise on directors' legal responsibilities when trading during financial distress, including potential wrongful trading risks under Section 214 of the Insolvency Act 1986. Recommend appropriate restructuring options, which may include creditor negotiations, a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA), or other suitable solutions. Due to 2 negative shop reviews I was asked to appeal by addressing the shop complaints (these were just general negative reviews about fit and sizing on my clothing products I sell on TikTok shop) and I was asked to re-verify my identity .
