Born, bred and still living in Zimbabwe, my parents were English and settled here after the Second World War. I combine well over two decades of life experience in photo safari operations (and plenty of experience in other tourism-related work), with my passion for the written word – both creative and in editing.
I have intentionally chosen to remain in Zimbabwe throughout our tumultuous recent history, while friends and relatives emigrated, and can cover our country with passion, personal experience and expertise.
I am dedicated to clear, concise English with a natural flow. With an A grade in English at GCSE ‘A Level’ and First at ‘S Level’ English (AEB), I went on to take BA (Hons) English and MA Journalism degrees. Diligence in written communications served me well and set me apart in my subsequent career. Most of my formal employment in tourism and hospitality has provided rewarding opportunities to write for company marketing and media.
