If your Google Sheet still needs a person to check it, copy things across, send the reminder or build the report, a script can do that part. I write custom Google Apps Scripts that live inside your sheet and run on their own.
I build automations for a living as an AI engineer, and Apps Script is the quickest way to make a spreadsheet work for you instead of the other way round.

It runs the way you want: when a cell is edited, on a schedule (daily, weekly, hourly), when a form is submitted, or from a button or menu item your team can click

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
1. The Google Sheet link, shared with edit access. If the data is still in Excel, attach the file and I will set it up in Sheets.
2. What should happen, in one sentence: “when X happens, do Y”. One example with real values is ideal.
3. When it should run: on edit, on a schedule, on form submit, or by button.
4. If emails are involved, who gets them and the wording you want.
