Vector Database Infrastructure — Production Deployment & Scaling

I will build production infrastructure for your self-hosted vector database — covering Kubernetes deployment with horizontal scaling, persistent storage configuration, backup and restore procedures, high availability configuration with replica sets, monitoring and alerting, and a maintenance runbook for your operations team. Self-hosted vector databases (Weaviate, Qdrant, or Milvus) offer significant cost advantages over managed solutions at scale but require infrastructure engineering that the databases themselves don't provide — Kubernetes deployment, persistent storage, HA configuration, and backup procedures are all production requirements that a self-hosted vector database needs and that a managed service handles for you.

The infrastructure covers Kubernetes deployment manifests, persistent volume configuration, horizontal scaling, replica set for HA, backup pipeline, monitoring and alerting, and an operations runbook.
