What you get with this Offer
Your app still runs on Laravel 8 or 9 and PHP 7.4 or 8.0. Those versions no longer get security fixes, hosts are dropping old PHP, and every new package wants a newer framework.
I'll upgrade the app step by step to Laravel 12 on PHP 8.3 and keep it working all the way through.
What you get:
- An upgrade from Laravel 8, 9, 10 or 11 to 12, one major version at a time
- PHP updated to 8.3, with deprecated syntax and functions fixed
- Composer packages updated, or replaced where they've been abandoned
- Config, routes, middleware and auth moved to the current structure where needed
- Your existing tests run at every step, plus smoke tests of the main user flows
- All work on a separate branch, deployed to staging first and then to live
- A changelog of what changed and anything your team should know
My recent projects run on Laravel 12, including a B2B equipment catalogue with Vue 3 and Inertia, and a marketplace with Nuxt 4 and Stripe Connect. Six years of commercial PHP development.
Before you order, send me composer.json and tell me the current versions. The fixed price covers apps up to about 50 models and 100 routes. Apps on Laravel 5.x, or with heavily forked packages, need a look first and may cost more. Moving the frontend build from Mix to Vite is an add-on.
