What you get with this Offer
With nearly two decades of experience in education, I provide a reliable, professional transcription service that delivers accurate, high-quality work with complete confidentiality.
Using professional office-based transcription facilities, my core service includes:
A non-timestamped, intelligent verbatim transcription of up to 30 minutes of audio or video, presented in a clear, professionally formatted MS Word template.
For recordings exceeding 30 minutes, additional content is charged at a reduced rate of just £0.60 per media minute, calculated in rounded-up blocks of five minutes. Simply select the relevant Add-Ons to match the length of your project.
If you prefer your transcription to be formatted within your own document template, this can be accommodated for a fixed per-document fee, regardless of audio duration. Please select the appropriate Add-On when placing your order.
Confidentiality is strictly maintained. All media files are securely deleted from my system within 24–48 hours of project completion (unless otherwise agreed). This excludes project metadata and files retained within the PPH WorkStream, in accordance with platform requirements.
Please note that advertised turnaround times may vary depending on current workload and the platform’s ability to allow purchases at any time, including UK overnight hours. Add-Ons may extend delivery times as indicated. If you require a guaranteed same-day service or delivery sooner than the advertised timeframe, you must contact me prior to purchase to confirm availability. No liability will be accepted for deliveries completed within the official PPH deadline at the time of purchase where no prior arrangements have been made.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
- The source audio or video file. You can send this via the PeoplePerHour Workstream where it is under 20MiB in size. Otherwise via web download or email. Please note: I cannot usually accept media hosted on video sites such as YouTube; an actual media file is required.
- If you have chosen to have the transcription typed into your own template, please supply a copy of that template in Microsoft Word format.
- Particularly in the case of professionally produced media, you will need to certify that you have the right to authorise me to make a text copy of the works in question and that you will accept any liability for rights infringements in the event of a claim by the rights holder.
