I am a graduate engineer and designer, with a degree in Mechanical Design Engineering and a post graduate degree in Product Design Engineering. I have worked on projects in a range of markets, usually consisting of high end components, taking products from concept, through prototyping and into manufacturing.

I mainly utilise Solidworks for modelling and use the Dassault FEA package for analysis and optimisation. Rendering and animations are also possible.

I have worked on racing car components (Chassis, suspension uprights, brakes, steering), mountain bike parts (frame, suspension, pedals, stems), Wheelchair bits(Frame, seat, wheels, quick release parts), go-kart pieces (Wheels, brake callipers) Distillation equipment (Reflux towers, condensers and valving) Composite pieces, curing ovens, ballistic armour and other projects.

I also have experience sourcing parts from Asia and have a catalogue of trusted manufacturers, and prototyping firms which can supply low quantity parts at very reasonable prices.
