I will evaluate your existing website firstly as a design critique and user review. This will involve examining how visually appealing and appropriate it is for the desired markets. Using my experience in UI/UX and content strategy I will determine how successfully the site is designed to achieve conversions and reach the primary goals.
I will then review the site from a technical viewpoint looking at the html code, markup and any javascript used. I will run a series of tests across the site to gauge performance with regard to page load times, browser compatibility, accessibility and usability. For each of these I will present options where there may be room for improvement and give a rough idea of how long these would take to implement.
My findings, insights and suggestions will be put together in an understandable document, highlighting key areas to focus on to improve the site performance across all the tested areas.
What the Freelancer needs to start the work
This review process is based off of the code presented to site visitors so I wont require any information to complete. However if there are constraints such as specific browser support or CMS limitations it would be good to know these in advance so I can focus on making the most of what is there.
If you require analytics review I'll need access to analytics with the ability to view reports.
