Research a Welsh politics, history or culture topic

Need reliable research on Wales or a distinctly Welsh topic?

I will research your chosen subject and create a professionally organised briefing covering the key facts, context, evidence, people and sources you need for your project.

This service is ideal for journalists, podcasters, authors, documentary producers, researchers, charities, organisations and content creators working on Wales-focused projects.

I can research topics involving:

• Welsh politics and devolution
• Welsh public policy
• Welsh history
• Culture and society
• Communities and places
• Industry and the Welsh economy
• Welsh institutions and organisations
• Social and political issues
• Historical events and figures
• Contemporary Welsh affairs

Depending on your topic, your research pack can include background and context, key people and organisations, important events, timelines, statistics, official reports, government publications, academic research, historical sources and reputable journalism.

I approach research with an investigative and editorial mindset, prioritising credible evidence and identifying different perspectives, disputed information and areas that warrant further investigation.

As a Wales-based researcher and writer with a particular professional interest in Welsh affairs, I understand the importance of treating Wales as its own political, historical and cultural context rather than simply as an extension of UK-wide research.

This Offer covers one clearly defined Wales-focused topic. Extensive investigations, archive projects or large document reviews can be quoted separately.

Please provide your topic, intended project and any specific questions you would like the research to answer.

This Offer is available exclusively through PeoplePerHour.
