I will remove unwanted noise from your recording (coughs, breaths, lip smacks, sniffs, background noise, etc.) and reduce hiss where possible, while improving clarity, overall level, and preserving the natural character of your voice or music.
With over 19 years of studio and commercial industry experience, as well as more than a decade lecturing in audio and music production at university level, I bring trained and experienced critical listening and technical precision to every project.
Services include:
• Removal of background noise (hiss, hum, buzz, room tone)
• Reduction of reverb and echo where possible
• Repair of clicks, pops and digital artefacts
• Breath and mouth noise reduction
• Distortion control (where recoverable)
• Tonal balancing with EQ
• Controlled compression for clarity and consistency
I work with professional restoration and mastering hardware and software, including iZotope RX and other industry standard tools, from my studio in Japan. I do not use automated presets, and every file is individually assessed and treated.
Files can be delivered in WAV or AIFF (16 or 24 bit) or high quality MP3. Video file audio can also be processed.
Pricing covers files up to 10 minutes. Please get in touch for longer recordings or bulk work.
