What the Freelancer needs to start the work
1. Invite me to your QuickBooks Online or Xero file as an accountant/adviser user. I never need your password.
2. Tell me which accounts and months to reconcile, and attach the statements (PDF is fine).
3. Tell me about anything you already know is wrong, like a difference that won't clear.
