What you get with this Offer
Is your business data scattered across folders, desktops, cloud storage and random file names?
I will organize your digital files into a clear, logical and easy-to-maintain structure so you can find important documents faster and keep your business files under control.
What I can organize:
Business documents
Word files
Excel spreadsheets
PDFs
Images and media
Invoices and receipts
Client/customer files
Project documents
Reports and presentations
Contracts and business records
Shared folders and cloud files
My process includes:
Reviewing your existing file structure
Creating logical folders and subfolders
Renaming files consistently
Removing obvious duplicates
Grouping related documents
Sorting files by project, client, department or year
Creating a simple naming convention
Separating active and archived files
Organizing spreadsheets and supporting documents
Creating an easy-to-follow folder structure
I can work with Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint and other common digital storage systems, depending on your setup. Google recommends meaningful naming conventions and folders/subfolders for keeping Drive files organized, while Microsoft provides similar document-library organization and search features through OneDrive and SharePoint.
Important: I will preserve your original files unless you specifically authorize deletion or permanent changes. For large or sensitive collections, we'll agree on the organization structure before major changes are made.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
Tell me where your files are currently stored.
Provide access to the relevant folders/storage system.
Tell me how you'd like files organized, if you already have a preferred structure.
Tell me which files/folders are most important.
Provide your preferred naming convention, if one already exists.
Identify any files that must not be moved or changed.
Tell me whether you want duplicates identified.
Tell me whether old files should be archived.
Specify any departments, clients, projects or years that should have separate folders.
Let me know if multiple people need access to the organized files.
For shared business files, permissions should be handled deliberately; Microsoft notes that OneDrive and SharePoint allow owners to control who can view or edit shared files and folders.
