What you get with this Offer
One clean Excel workbook built from up to 5 of your Excel or CSV files, plus the Python script that made it.
You send exports that do not line up: different column names, dates in several formats, duplicates, total rows mixed in with the data. I map every layout to one column list and clean the values. Then I merge the files into one workbook. You get the workbook and the script, so you can run it again on next month's files. A short README gives the run command.
What you get:
- One Excel workbook with your columns in your order, plus a summary tab with row counts per source file
- Clean values: trimmed text, one date format, numbers stored as numbers, duplicates removed or flagged (you choose)
- A source-file column on every row, so any value can be traced back to the file it came from
- The Python script and a README with the run command
- One revision round on the column mapping
Scope of this Offer: up to 5 files, up to 3 different layouts, up to 100,000 rows in total. Larger jobs are covered by the add-ons.
Not included:
- PDF, scanned or website data (see my other Offers)
- Formulas, pivot tables or charts inside the workbook
- Macros or VBA
- Scheduled runs or hosting
Related work: commission statements in 7 provider formats, mapped into one Excel dashboard for a financial advisory firm. It was handed over as a Claude skill the client can run on his own machine.
AI use: I build and test with Claude Code. The engineering is mine, and I check the merged output against your files by hand before delivery.
Message me first with one or two sample files. I confirm the scope and the delivery date within one working day, before you order.
