I have been working in broadcast media for over four years now as a freelance camera operator shooting and lighting live music performances for the likes of Foster the People, LMFAO and recently Nelly Furtado which also included snappy of the cuff b-roll interviews. I have also lit and shot classic talking head interviews for a numerous documentaries for various TV companies.
My kit consists of a Canon 7D, which used it extensively for Channel 4, Sky Arts and the Sundance channel. Canon 17mm-55mm lens, Sigma 80mm-300mm lens, manfrotto tripod, 300w tungsten light and reflector and Zoom H4N for audio recording.I also own a Sony HDV V1, which is a great little documentary camera.
