- Review and tidy naming conventions where appropriate
- Clarify Power Query step names so transformations are easy to follow
- Power BI Governance Catalog (written document)
- I will produce a simple, structured catalog that includes:
- Inventory of your key reports, tables, and measures
- What each measure is intended to represent
- Notes on structure, naming, and clarity
- Light Optimisation & Improvement Notes (as I go)
While completing the governance work, I will note any obvious issues or opportunities for improvement, such as:
- Potential performance concerns
- Risks in the data model
- Areas where structure or logic could be improved
- Suggested next steps (prioritised where possible)
- These will be provided as clear recommendations rather than implemented changes unless you request otherwise.
What this is not:
- This is not a full rebuild of your data model or dashboards. If major redesign or large-scale refactoring is required, I will outline this separately and recommend a suitable next step.
How I work:
- I’ll confirm your priorities before starting
- I work methodically and document what I’ve done
- You’ll receive both the updated Power BI file and the written Governance Catalog + Recommendations
