I am an experienced software developer with many skills, including XSL transformations.
XSL stands for Extended Stylesheet Language and can be used to transform XML data into various other formats such as XML, HTML, PDF or plain text.
This hourly is about XML to XML transformation, so if you have other requirements please send me an inquiry and I will respond with a quotation..
If you have data in one XML format and need it converted to another XML format, I can produce the necessary transformation using XSL Transformation (XSLT).
The finished product is an XSL transformation file that can be used with many XSLT processors.
If details about the intended use is provided I can also write a short instruction for how to use the XSL file.
If required I can also provide a simple Windows Form application or Console application in .NET for an extra fee.
The specified time frame of two days is valid for small to medium size XML formats. If there are too many elements and/or the complexity is too great I will send a proposal for a more realistic time frame and cost.
Work flow
1. Analyze the requirements for the transformation.
2. Ask for complementary information if necessary.
3. Notify the buyer if the job is feasible within the specified time frame or not.
4. Create the XSL file.
5. Test and verify the transformation.*
6. Deliver the resulting XSL file.
* If the contents of the input XML file can vary within the same schema, please provide for different samples that can be used for testing.
What the Freelancer needs to start the work
1. Example of input XML format and/or schema (XSD). More examples will result in a faster delivery and a more robust design.
2- Example of desired output XML format and/or schema.
3. The mapping of the two formats must be forward compatible, i.e. information required in output format must exist in the input format.
4. Specify required XSLT version. Default is 1.0
