Custom styling, ornamental breaks, and up to five images* are included as part of the service. Just let me know your preferred style – it’s as easy as that.
*If you have more than five images in your manuscript, please contact me for a quote.
What the Freelancer needs to start the work
Please provide the following:
1. Final, fully edited manuscript, including front and back matter such as: copyright page, about the author, also by the author, author’s note, foreword, afterword, etc.
Make sure the file has been proofread and that there’s no excess spacing or formatting issues.
If your book includes images, please ensure they are inserted in the correct locations within the document so I know where to place them.
2. ISBN(s) – one for each format (ePub, paperback, hardback).
3. Publisher information (if applicable), including logo and any imprint details you’d like to appear.
4. Preferred font and font size
(If you have an example of a style or layout you like, please share it to help guide the design: especially for chapter headings or ornamental breaks.)
5. Trim size of your paperback (e.g., 5x8", 5.5x8.5", 6x9")
6. Trim size of your hardback (if applicable)
7. Header/footer preferences (e.g., author name, book title, page numbers, placement, etc.)
8. Bleed or margin requirements (if your printer/distributor has specific setup guidelines, please share them).
If formatting for ePub, please also include:
