Fix your Amazon KDP files: margins, bleed, spine and Kindle

KDP rejected your book, or it printed off-centre? I'll fix the files.

I'm a UK author with novels, children's books and activity books live on Amazon KDP, and I've hit every one of these problems myself.

The five problems I fix most:
1. Margins and gutter: text off-centre, too close to the spine, or flagged in the Previewer
2. Bleed: pictures or backgrounds that should run to the edge but get rejected
3. Cover size and spine: cover doesn't fit because the page count changed
4. Kindle ebook: broken contents page, odd spacing, images in the wrong place
5. Rejection emails: I'll tell you in plain English what KDP wants and fix it

- A check of your files against KDP's rules for your trim size and page count
- Your paperback interior fixed and returned as a KDP-ready PDF
- A short note of what was wrong and what I changed

How it works
1. Not sure which extras you need? Message me your file and KDP's email before you order and I'll tell you. Extras can only be added when you order.
2. Send your file (Word is best, PDF is fine) and any KDP error message here on PeoplePerHour.
3. Fixed files back within 5 days of me having your files, usually sooner.
4. Two rounds of changes are included.

Good to know
- Your wording stays exactly as it is. I fix the layout, not your writing.
- I keep your trim size the same. If the page count has to change, I'll tell you first, because your cover spine will need updating too.
- You upload the files to your own KDP account yourself. I never need your login.
- Content, rights and AI rejections aren't covered. PDF-only files may limit what I can fix.
- I can't control KDP's review, but your files will meet KDP's layout rules for your trim size and page count.

Your rights
I start as soon as you send your files. Once the fixed files are delivered you lose the 14-day cancellation right. If you cancel earlier, you pay for the work done. Your statutory rights are not affected.
