Fix and customize WordPress frontend — HTML, CSS, JavaScript
(84 reviews)
What you get with this Offer
Use this offer for one focused piece of work delivered in 1 day.
WHAT I BUILD AND FIX
Frontend engineering:
- Pixel-perfect implementation from Figma, Sketch, or design references
- Custom Gutenberg blocks and block patterns
- Theme styling that follows WordPress coding standards
- Modern CSS architecture - Sass, BEM, custom properties, container queries
- Responsive layouts using Flexbox and Grid, mobile-first
- Accessible markup (WCAG-aware, semantic HTML, ARIA where needed)
- Vanilla JavaScript and ES6+ for interactions, no jQuery dependencies
- Performance-conscious code - no unnecessary libraries, no layout thrash
Bug fixes and refinement:
- Layout breaking on mobile, tablet, or specific viewports
- CSS conflicts after plugin or theme updates
- Cross-browser inconsistencies (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Sticky headers, scroll behavior, focus states, hover interactions
- WooCommerce product, cart, checkout, and account page styling
- Form styling for Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms
WordPress alignment:
- Works with the theme, not around it - child themes, theme.json, block editor styles
- Plays nicely with Elementor, Divi, Bricks, Gutenberg, WPBakery, Kadence, GeneratePress, Astra, OceanWP
- Custom CSS scoped properly so updates do not break it
WHAT YOU GET
- Clean, commented, maintainable code
- Cross-browser tested on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge
- Mobile, tablet, and desktop verified
- Brief technical summary of what changed and where it lives
SCOPE NOTE
For one piece of focused frontend work delivered in 1 day. If your request scales into a full theme build, multi-page redesign, or component library, I will let you know up front and we scope a custom proposal.
NOT INCLUDED
PHP development, plugin internals, custom post types, REST endpoints, database work, hosting, migrations. Pure frontend - HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
WHY ME
Senior-level frontend means code you can hand to the next developer without apology. Semantic markup. Modern CSS. ES6+ JavaScript. No jQuery unless your stack already requires it. No bloated plugins added to solve what belongs in a stylesheet.
What the Freelancer needs to start the work
To deliver fast and correct, please share:
1. WordPress admin access, or access to your child theme, Customizer, or page builder custom CSS area
2. The exact URL of the page or component the work applies to
3. A clear description of the goal - current state versus desired state
4. Design reference if applicable - Figma, Sketch, screenshots, or a live example site
5. Loom or screen recording for bugs, especially mobile or browser-specific ones (please mention device and browser)
6. Confirmation that the work is frontend - HTML, CSS, JavaScript - and not PHP or backend logic
7. Any recent changes that may have triggered the issue (update, plugin, builder switch)
If you are not sure whether the work is frontend or backend, send a screenshot first and I will tell you before you order.
