What you get with this Offer
1. conduct a full desired name availability search.
2. research, refine and draft the specifications and forms for filing with the TM Office
3. submit the application on your behalf.
This is for a UK TM only. European and other TM applications are priced differently. The price does not include the appropriate fee/s due to the Intellectual Property Office or any of their disbursement charges. These will be payable by you in addition, and these very much depend on how many 'classes' you wish your TM to be registered in. I will of course advise and quote you the charges due.
The fee for conducting availability searches (one trademark in one class) in the TM registers to determine any potential conflicts or risks is included in my fee. If multiple searches are required, I can advise you of any small additional cost for the time that will take.
The official Government fee for filing one trademark in one class in the UK is £200 payable to the UK Trademarks Office. Additional costs that will be incurred for each additional class required for your TM, (+£50 per additional class), will be advised when we discuss the application in detail.
Sometimes, the IPO Registrar may challenge or raise extra enquiries regarding your application. In the event of any queries or objections to the registration, I can assist you with this and will advise you of my extra charge to deal with those queries on your behalf.
Please note, that I do reserve the right to decline your application if it looks likely to be a difficult registration process or deals with anything overtly controversial. In such cases, a refund of the amount in escrow will be returned to you minus a £60 initial search fee charge.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
I will require the name and full details including email and contact telephone number, of the person who is going to be the owner of the TM once registered. If the Applicant is a Company or business name, I need its full address and registration number too.
But don't worry - I have a comprehensive questionnaire to send to you which will harvest the information I require, and which will give you some helpful pointers to begin.
Trademark is a highly complex area of law, and even some of the largest law firms and high street Solicitors are often confused with it. For a fraction of the cost of a fancy-pants London Lawyer, I will provide you with a swift and creative attention to your TM requirements.
Please remember, you will have to pay the Government Application Fee on top of my fee, depending on what is required for your application.
