Changing job is a daunting prospect at the best of times and in this day and age many potentially fantastic employees are not even reaching interview stage, this is for one simple reason: their CV is letting them down. Often this is through poor spelling and grammar, or they haven't emphasized enough what they can do!

If you would like a second opinion on your CV, or perhaps feel it needs a little something extra, I would be more than happy to take a look at it for you, check for spelling and mistakes, ensure it reads well and rewrite as required.

A little bit about me ! I have always had a keen interest in writing and reading and In my working life I have always (by accident in some cases!) become the designated writer of whichever company I was working for at the time, this included brochure copy, website content, advertorials, newspaper articles and more recently blogs. I am nearing completion of a copy writing course which will give me a professional qualification, however in the mean time I am looking to build up my portfolio as much as possible.

So, why CV writing? It has dawned on me that over the years many friends and family members have asked me to help them with this task. In the last two weeks alone I have written 3, all of which have led to interviews, and one has already been offered (and accepted) the position he applied for.

A good CV will (generally) get you an interview, the rest is up to you!
