I love telling a story through data analysis and writing, skilled in science communication in a variety of formats (web, print, presentation slides, publications, etc.) with a client-focused approach. I have experience with public engagement, able to craft engaging yet accurate content for several audiences.
I can offer:
- medical and scientific communications materials, including blog posts, web content, articles, presentation slides, easy to understand summaries, critical analysis of research papers, journal articles, abstracts, academic writing
- professional editing, proofreading, and formatting to various regulations or style guides
- data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation
My areas of expertise are wide ranging within life sciences, after working in multidisciplinary academic research, learning quickly, and developing literature review skills. Past projects have involved, for example, genetics, molecular biology, stem cell research, infection/immunity, ecology, animal research, and agriculture.
For data projects, I have extensive experience in statistics and hypothesis testing, using R, Python, SAS, Excel, Minitab, and ASREML.
