What the Freelancer needs to start the work
Can you share more about your project? What style are you aiming for? What specific aspects do you want to emphasize with sound effects? Are you looking for a realistic approach or something more stylized? Any notes or additional information you can provide will be incredibly helpful to me. Director notes or take-by-take comments would be greatly appreciated.
I'll need you to send me all the audio elements. An AAF or OMF would be the ideal file format, and including a 2-second handle would be great. If you're unable to export those file types, please let me know, as there are multiple options depending on your NLE. I'll need the unedited music files, in case any adjustments or reworking of the music placement is needed.
I'll need you to send me the reference video. Just to clarify, I'll need the whole video from start to finish in the framerate of your project. While I am able to work with a variety of file formats and codecs, an mp4 h.264 HD resolution (1920x1080) at a bitrate between 5 and 10 Mbps would be more than sufficient. On-screen time code and sync points are not required, but they are always helpful.
