Design & create your mobile friendly small business website

This hourly provides a new fully functional website designed for small business, start-ups and sole traders.
This hourly is also suitable for those who are looking to re-design/improve an existing website.
Typical features include, image slider, blog, membership functions, social media buttons, contact forms, responsive design layout (mobile ready), CMS integration (WordPress or Perch).

All sites are custom built!
I like to fully understand and discuss the project before any commitment is made.

Project Discussion
• I will discuss with you over Skype the scope of your project and go into detail with you about your new website and what you’re hoping to achieve.
• If I feel I am not suitable for the project or have any reservations, then I will say so here before any commitment is made on your behalf.
• I will give an estimation of the price and time scales required.

Project Commitment
• Once we have fully discussed the requirement and it’s something I can assist you with.
To move forward I will ask for a deposit of 50% to be made (sites under £1000) in order for work to begin.
• If it is a larger project of over £1000 then I will split the project into 3 milestones and request a smaller deposit of 1 third only.

Idea Generation Stage
• I will now discuss with you some design ideas
• A mood board is created along with some basic wire-frames and we decide on an overall direction for the design.
• I will request any copy or imagery you have that you want on the website – this aids me with the design.

Design Iterations
• From the idea stage I will create 3 new design ideas for you to review.
• You can tell me what you like about them and what you don’t like.
• From there we will move forward with the design and focus on one of them.

Development Stage
• I will begin coding the web design and things come to life!

Review Stage
• A basic coded version of the website is then presented for you to review.
• You will have an opportunity to pick out anything you want changing as long as it fits within the original brief, I will review and change these.

Testing Stage
• I will test the website for bugs and errors and make sure it’s working as expected.

Handover
• The final payment will be made and the website will be handed over or hosted on our servers if you so choose.
• I will give some basic training on how to update the website or we can discuss ongoing website management if you prefer.
