Real-time Salesforce persistence — every drag, resize, or task edit auto-saves dates back to your Project and Work Order records via Apex.
Bryntum Copilot (AI chat panel) — powered by Google Gemini 2.0 Flash via a secure Apex proxy. Ask it to filter unallocated orders, summarise tasks, or identify resource gaps.
Resource utilisation panel — a linked histogram showing effort and revenue per resource, grouped by resource and project, with expand/collapse and time-left indicators.
Monthly revenue label — select any month in the filter bar and instantly see a prorated revenue figure calculated from Work Order amounts, working days, and holidays.
Smart filters — filter by month, show unallocated work orders only, or jump to current month. Non-working time, public holidays, and personal absences are all respected.
What the Freelancer needs to start the work
Do I need a Bryntum licence?
Yes — Bryntum Gantt requires a commercial licence (bryntum.com). You purchase that separately. The static resource files are deployed to your own org so your licence covers it.
How does the AI Copilot connect to Gemini without exposing API keys?
All Gemini calls are routed through a custom Apex class (BryntumAIProxy) that holds the key server-side. No keys ever touch the browser or the LWC JavaScript bundle.
Which Salesforce edition is required?
Enterprise or above (for Field Service / Work Orders). The component uses standard LWC, Apex, and the Field Service data model.
Can you customise the columns or data model for my org?
Yes — the Premium package covers custom fields, columns, and up to 2 object relationship changes. Larger customisations are quoted separately.
