Connect your app or website to a third-party API
- Views 11
What you get with this Offer
I can help connect one clear API integration so your app, website, or backend can send data, fetch data, sync information, or trigger a small API-powered feature.
This could be useful for forms, dashboards, reports, internal tools, external services, business workflows, or app features that need to communicate with another platform.
I'm Lee, a UK-based developer with 6+ years of programming experience. I work with technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, PHP, FastAPI, Laravel, and more. I'm comfortable reading API documentation, handling authentication, working with JSON data, and connecting APIs into existing codebases.
What I can help with:
- Connecting your app or website to a third-party API
- Sending data to an external service
- Fetching data from an API
- Handling JSON request and response data
- API authentication or token setup
- Small API-powered app features
- Basic data syncing between systems
- Backend API connection logic
What is included:
- One clear third-party API connection
- Clean, maintainable implementation
- Basic testing where your access/setup allows
- A clear explanation of how the API connection works
- Friendly communication throughout
Please message me before ordering so I can check the API documentation and confirm the task fits this offer. If the integration involves multiple APIs, complex OAuth flows, payments, large database changes, or a full workflow build, I can still help but we may need to agree a custom scope first.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
To get started, please send as much of the following as you can:
- A short description of the API connection you need
- What your app, website, or backend should send to the API
- What your app, website, or backend should receive from the API
- The third-party API provider or service involved
- A link to the API documentation, if available
- Any required endpoints, request examples, or response examples
- Details of the authentication method, such as API key, bearer token, or OAuth
- The technology/framework used, if you know it
- Access to the code, repository, staging site, or files needed to build the connection
- Any test credentials, sandbox details, or sample data needed for testing
If you are not sure about some of this, that is completely fine. Just send what you have and I’ll guide you from there.
Please avoid sharing sensitive production secrets unless they are genuinely needed. If API keys, tokens, or credentials are required, test credentials or temporary access are best where possible.
