Chunking Pipeline Service — Reusable Infrastructure for Teams

I will build a chunking pipeline as a service — a centralised document processing API that receives documents, applies the appropriate chunking strategy based on document type, attaches metadata, generates embeddings, and delivers indexed chunks to your vector store — serving all your organisation's RAG and retrieval applications from a single, consistent document processing service. Organisations building multiple RAG applications independently duplicate chunking logic across each application — the chunking API approach ensures consistent chunk quality across all applications, reduces the engineering effort for each new RAG system, and provides a single point for chunking quality improvement that benefits all consuming applications simultaneously.

The service covers a document processing REST API, content-type detection and strategy routing, all major chunking strategies, embedding generation, vector store delivery, a processing status API, quality monitoring, and documentation for new application onboarding.
