What you get with this Offer
Putting an OpenAI key inside a mobile app is risky. Anyone can pull it out of the app file and run up your bill. You need a backend between the app and the AI provider.
I'll build that backend as a small, documented API your app developer can plug straight in.
You choose up to 2 AI features:
- Chat with streaming replies and saved conversation history
- Photo recognition: read a label, a receipt or a product and return structured data
- Voice to text, and text to speech
- Checks on what users send, to filter abuse
Every build also includes:
- Authentication that works with your app's current login (Firebase, Supabase or your own)
- Per-user rate limits and a monthly cap, so one user can't drain your AI budget
- API docs (OpenAPI) with example requests for Swift, Kotlin, Flutter or React Native
- Logs of requests and errors
- Deployment with Docker on your server or a cloud provider you choose
Six years of commercial backend and full-stack work with Node.js, Python and PHP. On a UK platform I wrote 485 automated API tests, so your endpoints come with tests as well.
Changes inside the mobile app itself are not included. If nobody is working on the app side yet, ask me first and we'll agree that separately.
