HOW I WORK
Excel projects vary enormously in size, so please message me before ordering. Describe what you need and send a sample file, and I will tell you honestly how much work it involves and how many hours to book. If your task is small, I will say so rather than overselling you. If it is a bigger build, I will break it into clear stages, each with its own fixed price.
This Offer covers one automation or feature of moderate complexity. Larger applications are quoted after we have spoken.

Small businesses, finance and operations teams, analysts, administrators, and anyone whose daily workflow lives in spreadsheets and has outgrown doing it by hand.
Not sure whether VBA is the right answer for your problem? Just ask. Sometimes a formula, Power Query or a simple template does the job better, and I will tell you that instead of selling you code you do not need.
What the Freelancer needs to start the work
To give you an accurate result, please send me:
1. A sample of your file. A copy of the workbook you actually use is the single most useful thing you can give me. Replace real names or figures with dummy data if it is confidential.
2. A description of the task you currently do by hand, step by step, as if you were teaching a new colleague. Screenshots or a short screen recording are perfect.
3. What the finished output should look like. A mocked-up example of the report, sheet or dashboard you want at the end.
4. Your Excel version and operating system (Excel 365, 2021, 2019, 2016, and whether you are on Windows or Mac). VBA behaves differently on Mac, so this matters.
5. Any rules the tool must follow - calculations, conditions, categories, formatting standards or company templates.
6. Who will be using the tool and how comfortable they are with Excel. This decides how much validation and protection I build in.
