What you get with this Offer
I’m Gregory V. Diehl, the author of six successful self-published nonfiction books and producer of many others.
I know the problems authors struggle with in putting their thoughts to paper in the most complete and efficient way possible. I've developed my own coaching methodology for brilliant but frustrated writers.
To become a better writer, you must first work at becoming a better thinker. Writing means efficiently articulating your thoughts in a permanent manner on the page.
Anyone can begin the drafting process by writing down all the things you know for sure have to go in the book somewhere, in some form. You can worry about the specific arrangement they will take later based on these pillars. That’s what developmental editing is for.
Who I Work With
I work with writers engaged in expressing their original thoughts but who struggle to edit, shape, and optimize them. They struggle with simple mistakes they've been making the whole time they have been writing, such as not knowing when to cut out or reduce something, when to expand and elaborate, how to reorder concepts for better flow, how to employ better grammar and more nuanced vocabulary (or intentionally leaving things in their simplest form), and so on.
This includes writers at all stages of nonfiction drafting, editing, publishing, and promotion. At the start of our work, we will discuss the importance of clearly defining the boundary conditions for your book and ensuring that it doesn't become an endless repository of cliché and redundant thoughts—as so many first books do. It can’t contain every thought you’ve ever had on a broad subject. You need strong and strategic self-imposed limitations.
