Be your graphic designer for one day

I have two issues with this designer:

1. Speed of communication is slow. Twice I had to send out reminders asking if my messages were being received.

(2) I found that the hourly advertised was misrepresented. I pointed this out after we received the design and wanted source files and we were told that we needed to pay extra.

If there are extra payments attached to work, these are generally noted in the offer. In this case they were not and I pointed this out to the designer.

The response I received that even more troubling that this had not been an issue before. Well, it is an issue - either declare all costs upfront or do not charge them.

I would have gladly accepted a higher priced hourly IT the higher price had been declared in the initial offer.

I started a similar project with another designer because I did not know if I would get the current work product. I am glad to say that project ended much faster and with full and correct disclosures. While I have had to get the same work done twice; I am glad that I did.
