What you get with this Offer
WHAT YOU GET
- Stripe Checkout set up and taking card payments, with a working success page and receipt
- A hosted Postgres database, connected to your app and ready to use
- File storage set up, so your app can accept uploads without filling up your server
- All keys and secrets stored as environment variables, never in your code
- A short written summary of what exists, what it costs, and how to change it
THE PART PEOPLE GET WRONG
With payments, the mistake that costs real money is trusting the browser. If the page tells your app someone has paid, someone will eventually tell it that without paying.
The only thing that should decide who has paid is your database, and the only thing that should write to it is a signed message from Stripe. That is how I build it, because I have built it before: a live subscription app where the whole loop was tested end to end, payment through to cancellation.
WHAT THIS IS
Infrastructure, set up and connected, ready for you to build your features on top. If you are part-way through building something and stuck on the plumbing, this is the job.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
- Not a whole application. I set up the foundations, you build the product.
- Not subscriptions with trials, proration and dunning. That is a bigger job and I will quote it separately once I have seen your code.
- Not a migration of an existing database with live customer data in it. Ask me and I will quote properly.
- Not PayPal, not yet. I have written a PayPal integration but have not put it into service, so I will not sell it at a fixed price. If you want PayPal as well as or instead of Stripe, ask and I will quote it separately once I have seen what you need.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Stripe's transaction fees, and whatever your database and storage cost once you are past the free tiers. Those are paid to the providers, in your name. Most small apps sit inside the free allowances for a long while, and I will tell you honestly where yours is likely to land.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
To start I need:
- Access to your code, usually a GitHub repository
- What you are building, and what people will be paying for
- Whether you already have Stripe, database or storage accounts, or want them created in your name
- Where the app is hosted, or where you plan to host it
If you are not sure what you need yet, send me what you have built so far and I will tell you plainly what it is missing and whether this offer covers it.
