Carluke, GBBid for the job after seeing the piece to be translated, took the deposit, then a week later decided not to complete the job (kept the deposit though!)
No response to emails. No money returned.
Avoid this thief at all costs. Unreliable, unprofessional, useless.REINER S.
Dear Dan,
I explained to you that the text of this spreadsheet gives to a every serious working translator a big problem which is not in their responsibility but in Yours.
As I have received the spreadsheet I have had a overflow I did not read every word that you want to have translated.
Your 'french' text has been senseless, it seems to be the result of an automatic translation. Some 'french' words do not even exist. I nevertheless translated the half of it corresponding to the deposit. The non-professional way to work is yours.
I have always replied to your mails. I did not have the time to give you a final proposition, you will read it now:
As I worked for you several hours I think this hours should be paid. If I give you back the deposit amount (why the whole sum?)
PayPal and the banks will gain à lot, it is wasting money. I will give you for a further translation à reduction of 20 % if the total amount is not less than GBP 50.
Let me give you the advice in order to have a professional result to no more translate à text by a machine, and not to let translate this text given by a machine into another language.
Best regards
Reiner Schleicher
