    Continuing Chingford, Camden Town, Winchmore Hill, Willenden, Queens Park, Primrose Hill.
    During this period I have been working privately on a number of domestic extensions and conversions from inception through Planning and Building Regulation approvals to completion.

    April 10 CHARLES BRICE ARCHITECTS London W1.
    June 10 Avenue Road St Johns Wood
    This was a freelance role for me to produce a scheme design for the renovation of a 300m2 penthouse flat in St Johns Wood. The main design requirement was to transform the floor plan from a cellular and enclosed layout to an open plan approach and bright space taking full advantage of the impressive views from this 12th floor penthouse flat. I completed the design drawings including visuals in 3d Max which were then presented to the client. We had a very positive response from the client on these proposals.

    July 09 CHARLES BRICE ARCHITECTS London W1.
    Sept 09 Avenue Road St Johns Wood
    This was an earlier version of the above scheme with the addition of a second floor to the existing 300m2 penthouse flat. The brief was to locate the open plan living spaces within the new upper floor with maximum natural light and views and the cellular spaces to remain on the existing floor linked by a double height atrium thus allowing the new upper floor to be expressed as a well lit and open space taking full advantage of the 360 deg views from its elevated position.

    Dec 08 Al Raha Beach. Abu Dhabi Client-Aldar
    This project involved the design of 64 buildings from 4 to 25 stories with a total of 2500 luxury apartments, 27000m2 commercial, a 16 story 4 star hotel and a base level of retail following the contours of an infrastructure of curved and interlinked canal and highways serviced from 3 sub ground levels with car parking.
    I worked within a team of 30 and my responsibilities involved initially producing and developing the area schedule and monitoring the efficiency of the scheme as it developed to final scheme design. I was responsible for the scheme design and development of several buildings in the scheme including a 16 story 4 star hotel.

    Ferrari World. Abu Dhabi Client-Aldar
    This was a combination of scheme and detail design role for the link entrance floor between Ferrari World theme park (50000m2) and the Yas Island Retail hub for the new Grand Prix circuit.
    My role was to develop the pedestrian link in terms of context, function material, pattern, features and maintenance. I led the design discussions to integrate the design between the Ferrari and Yas Island teams.

    Dec 06 Barham Park, London Client Notting Hill Housing Association.
    My role was Design Architect for the scheme design for this regeneration project with 450 affordable and private dwellings to provide a phased replacement to 250 existing low density dwellings.
    My role involved liaising with and presenting to resident groups and the housing association to develop the proposals with reference to the relevant standards including lifetime homes and secure by design.

    Waltham Forest Estates Client Forest Homes.
    My involvement was to produce feasibility studies to upgrade 4 existing low density public residential developments to higher densities and to current design standards involving options from refurbishment to complete replacement with new dwellings.

    Eric and Treby Estate Mile End, London
    I undertook an analysis of the existing estate in terms of current layout standards and identified opportunity sites within the estate for potential new infill developments designing initial proposals for these sites.

    St. Marks School, Kennington Client London Borough of Southwark
    This was a scheme design role for new nursery school and private flats in the grounds of
    St Marks primary school within a Conservation Area context.

    Feasability studies for mixed use developments in Notting Hill Gate focused on the main frontages adjacent to the underground station.

    Feasability studiy for mixed use high rise scheme to include Student Housing, Retail, Offices and Hotel.

    Paragon Brentford.
    My role was to lead the detail design development up to Tender for Student and Key Worker Housing in 5 blocks from 5 to 16 floors utilizing Pod construction.

    Scheme design role for mixed development with Tesco large format store, private residential; affordable housing and offices on site adjacent to Peckham Library.

    Burton on Trent - Client Tesco
    I produced Feasability Studies to address the issues concerning the integration of a Tesco large format store with retail, private and affordable housing adjacent to the main town centre and scenic amenity area with a riverside context.

    Project Architect from Inception to Planning approval for new 5 story 2,000m2 floor office with residential upper floor and retail ground floor. Full Planning approval achieved in a street with complex planning context.

    Project Architect from Inception to Planning Approval for new build offices of 7000m2 in a conservation area of adjacent to the New Globe Theatre.

    Elizabeth Marina Competition Jersey Client-Ports of Jersey
    Project Design Architect for 2nd placed competition scheme design with Marina club and associated retail facilities and luxury flats.

    Broadgate Circle, London Client Hendersons / Amp
    Project Architect and designer from inception to completion for £1m interior refurbishment of large atrium entrance space to London HQ. The scheme consisted of suspended canopies and curved glazed panels to subdivide a large double height atrium space creating a greater security manageable arrangement. My involvement was to produce the concept design and project manage the project from Inception to Completion.

    Odeon Cinema Site St Albans.
    Project Architect from Inception to Planning for 12 new build private luxury flats including retention of a 1930s locally listed Odeon cinema façade.

    Project Architect from Inception to Tender for new build offices

    Aug 99 Long Acre, London WC1 Client Natwest PLC.
    I was Package Architect for the facade restoration of a 7 story retained facade which included the complete replacement of the ground floor façade and was responsible for producing Tender documentation for packages including brickwork and masonry restoration, replacement of all façade windows with replicas to meet current standards

    New Bond Street London W1 Client David Morris Jewellers.
    Project Architect for the refurbishment and rebuilding of the ground floor façade and listed interiors over 3 floors for this new Flagship HQ for David Morris.My involvement was from post Planning to completion on a very tight program and with the inclusion of extensive bespoke components and finishes and refurbishment of listed elements.
