Physically I practice Prana Yoga with breathing tequniques, Qigong and Shiatsu suitable even for frail patients recuperating from major operations. With gentle and synchronised breathing technique, anybody can benefit from relatively simple and short exercise. Personal training is available.

    Work experience inlcudes:
Interpreting and translation for Film Industry in Tokyo; helping Star Trek The Next Generation's first feature film interpreting Mr Brent Spiner during his publicity interviews in Akasaka Prince Hotel in Tokyo.

Translation for CD-rom games for GAGA Communications in Tokyo.

Wrote Japanese subtitles and did voice over for the first Tokyo Gay and Lesbian Film Festival in 1995.

Interpreting and translation for the Japanese delegate at Wembly Conference Centre covering the e-commerce presentations in 1996.

Interpreting for Japanese fashion journalists during their interview with Mr Vidal Sassoon at London Fashion Week in 1996.

Wrote film reviews in DICE published by UPLINK, Tokyo until 1996.

From 1997 to 1999 I worked at New Model Centre, Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd translating and interpreting automotive development project-related documents and at high level meetings and video conferences.

In 2000 I worked at European Patent Office hearing for Isuzu Motors Europe and won against Bosch regarding an Engine system patent case.

Isuzu Motors also contracted me for a business trip to support their Cheshire plant as a technical interpreter shortly after that.

Wrote articles for Japan Journals in London featuring the Royal Albert Hall, the Household Division, Tate Modern, etc. from 1999 until 2001.

From 2001, translating EU member countries' environmental, maritime, transport and R&D subsidies policies from European languages to Japanese and vice versa for Japanese semi-governmental organisation Japan Ship Centre (JETRO) based in the City was my main work until November 2010.

Highly technical translation between Japanese, English, French, German, Russian, Italian, Spanish and other European languages is my forte.

I also draw illustrations featuring cats and create stained-class effect art work for any window size.

As a daughter of music education specialist, I play music instruments and have sung professionally in Tokyo. Singing descant at our local parish church is my duty on Christmas Eve.
